About The Role

Are you eager to start a hands-on career in metal fabrication? At Metalex, we’re looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team as Fabrication Technicians Level 1. No prior experience in needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the trade and grow with us through on-the-job training and a potential apprenticeship program.


You will gain skills with CNC machines, sheet metal roll formers, mechanical brakes, and other metal fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in producing high-quality, precise work.


Key Accountabilities

  • Operate CNC machines, sheet metal roll formers, mechanical brakes, and other fabrication equipment to manufacture metal components

  • Read and interpret basic blueprints and CAD designs to ensure accurate fabrication of parts

  • Perform basic machine setup, coil changes and adjustments to accommodate production requirements

  • Monitor machines during operations to ensure quality, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary corrections

  • Ensure all fabricated products meets quality standards expected of Metalex products
