FOAM PANEL PLANT, OPERATOR

About the Role

If you want real, consistent work close to home — good pay, steady hours, and no camp rotations — this is it. Metalex is hiring a Foam Panel Plant Operator at our Stettler manufacturing facility. You’ll be part of the team that produces the insulated foam panel systems that go into Metalex’s steel buildings across Canada and the USA.

The work is hands-on, consistent, and physical. The team you’ll be joining takes quality seriously and holds each other accountable for the finished product.

No prior foam panel experience required. We’re looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and physically capable. We’ll train you on the rest.

What You’ll Do

• •Prepare metal skins for foam panel production on the coil line
• •Load panels onto equipment for polyurethane injection
• •Operate injection equipment to fill panels with polyurethane to specification
• •Perform accurate measurements throughout the production process
• •Package finished foam panels for shipment and transport
• •Load, unload, and move materials and components safely throughout the plant
• •Operate power tools, machines, and production equipment safely and correctly
• •Keep your workstation and the plant floor clean and organized at all times
• •Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and report hazards promptly

What You’ll Bring

• •A reliable work ethic and attention to detail — this work requires precision and consistency
• •Physical capability: the role involves heavy lifting and sustained physical effort throughout the shift
• •Ability to read a tape measure and perform accurate measurements
• •High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• •Prior manufacturing or construction experience is an asset, not a requirement — we train the right people

• •$23–$25/hr based on experience, paid bi-weekly by direct deposit
